Territory Sales Manager (M/F) – Iberia (Spain & Portugal)
Proevolution is recruiting for its client Bemis | Protechnic, a global leader in thermoadhesives, decorative films, and technical solutions for the automotive, textile, medical, and construction industries.
With a presence in 50 countries and 93% of its €32.7M revenue generated from exports, Protechnic has expanded since joining the Bemis Group in 2023, diversifying into apparel, industrial applications, and consumer electronics. Its R&D expertise and tailored approach ensure proximity, responsiveness, and innovation to meet clients’ needs.
The Iberian market holds strong growth potential. A distributor, already operating in the region, is part of your scope. Protechnic aims to strengthen its direct presence in Spain and Portugal by hiring a Territory Sales Manager to fully oversee the Iberian market and drive expansion.
This role is for you if you:
- Are a true hunter, with a strong B2B field sales background and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Are autonomous, ambitious, and results-driven, with strong organizational skills and a constant focus on achieving your targets (KPIs).
- Can combine strategic vision with hands-on sales, visiting customers on-site to understand their needs and develop long-term relationships.
- Are ready to travel frequently (70% of the time). A valid driver’s license is essential for regular travel.
- Are multilingual: Spanish (C2) and English (C1) are mandatory. French or Portuguese is a plus.
- Enjoy collaboration, working closely with support teams to meet customer expectations and drive performance.
This role is NOT for you if you:
- Prefer a sedentary job, dislike driving, or prefer virtual interactions over face-to-face client meetings.
- Have no interest in technical products.
- Are uncomfortable navigating a complex, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing
- Prospect new clients while ensuring continued support for existing customers. This includes six client visits per week (minimum two visits per day, from Tuesday to Thursday).
- Understand customer needs during on-site visits, offer tailored solutions, and build strong relationships to ensure customer loyalty.
- Participate in trade fairs, conduct sales presentations, and collaborate with the marketing team to generate new leads.
- Prepare, negotiate, and finalize contracts to meet targets (KPIs).
Cross-functional Management
- Work closely with technical teams, back-office sales, and R&D to develop customized, innovative solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting
- Provide regular reports to commercial management, including KPI tracking, budget management, and participation in quarterly reviews.

Onboarding & Support for Your Success
- Initial training: A two-week onboarding program in France covering products and processes, including meetings with R&D and technical teams.
- Structured follow-up:
- Weekly meetings to track performance.
- Quarterly team-building sessions in France.
- Field support with a technician and/or the Sales Director to optimize client interactions.
Recruitment Process
With Proevolution:
- Phone interview (profile validation and motivation assessment).
- In-depth interview (discussion on experience and skills).
- Technical, language and personality assessments.
- Reference and diploma checks.
With Protechnic:
- Interview with HR Director and Sales Director.
- Second interview (TBD).
- On-site visit to meet the teams.
Package & Benefits
- Contract: Permanent.
- Salary:
- €40K – 50K fixed, depending on profile.
- +20% variable bonus, based on KPIs co-defined with the Sales Director.
- Company car: Peugeot 508, Peugeot 5008, or Skoda Superb.

- Location: Spain or Portugal (Remote, with frequent travel across the Iberian region). Preferred hubs: Porto, Lisbon, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia – but open to other locations.
